When you hear the phrase “Flavor You Feel,” your mind might immediately conjure thoughts of spicy sensations or mouthwatering tangs, but what if I told you a little secret… The real essence lies beyond the taste buds!

At Papa Caps Foods, flavor isn't just about what you taste; it's the emotions, memories, and shared experiences that food brings to life. It's the sizzle of excitement when you gather around the table with friends and family, the laughter that erupts when a dish surprises your taste buds, and the stories that arise from these moments.

"Flavor You Feel" is the social symphony created when we host a tasting and you see how far you can push yourself. It is that feeling of wanting to take your friends and family on that journey. It's the "getting in" on a limited edition batch. It's the glimmer of pride in a spicy loving Parent's eye when their child wants to join in the fun and succeeds. (I have seen this multiple times and it may just be my favorite thing about doing samples.)

It is in the person who gets excited when they see us at an event because they just ran out of their favorite sauce. It's in the thank you letters that get written to us, and it is in the ones who come to events specifically because we are there.

"Flavor You Feel" is meant to be shared with friends and family. That is why most of our posts start with "My Friends." Because we too get excited to see you, and when our friends reciprocate the ideals of "Flavor You Feel" with us and it comes full circle, we know we have done our job and created something amazing.

OUR STORY

From the beginning, Luke—the founder of Papa Caps Foods—wasn't your average person. While others played it safe, he was out chasing thrills, pushing limits, and stirring up a little fun. Some folks thought he was a bit out there, always looking for the next adventure or pulling off the next prank.

Luke had a knack for finding the extraordinary in the everyday. He craved experiences that got the heart racing and the adrenaline pumping. Whether sampling the world's hottest peppers or cooking up something wild in the kitchen, he was all about creating moments that left a lasting impression.

He discovered that sharing a hearty meal or trying something daring with friends and family led to unforgettable memories. As he grew older, Luke searched far and wide for unique ingredients, blending them into sauces that could stir the soul and set taste buds on fire. And yes, there was that one time he forgot to wash his hands after handling those insanely hot peppers—lesson learned the hard way!

Eager to share this experience with the world, Luke launched Papa Caps Foods—a tribute to "The Father of Capsaicin" (that's the stuff that gives peppers their kick).

Now, some say Luke just made up the name Papa Caps. Others believe it came to him in a wild dream. Some believe the legend goes way back, told to him during his adventures seeking the strange and unusual. And some folks think he's just as offbeat now as he was back then.
